MRT:
Alight at Ang Mo Kio station (NS16) and take bus service 138 from the bus interchange.
Alight at Choa Chu Kang station (NS4-BP1) and take bus service 927 from the bus interchange.
From Changi Airport station (EW29), board the train and alight at Tanah Merah station (EW4) to switch to the west-bound train to City Hall station (EW13-NS25), switch again to the north-bound train to Ang Mo Kio station (NS16) and take bus service 138 from the bus interchange.
From Changi Airport station (EW29), board the train and alight at Tanah Merah station (EW4) to switch to the west-bound train to Jurong East station (EW24-NS1), switch again to the north-bound train to Choa Chu Kang station (NS4-BP1) and take bus service 927 from the bus interchange.

Meander through the Rainforest Walk to catch sight of Asian small-clawed otters, head past Gibbon Island for a glimpse of our acrobatic apes before taking the tram to Tram Stop 2.
Enroute, you will encounter Wild Africa, home to white rhinos, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, meerkats and lions. Look out for Tropical Crops Plantation and Orchid Garden on your right too!
3.00 – 3.30pm
Alight at Tram Stop 2 and explore Fragile Forest, a walk-thru rainforest home to the free ranging lesser mousedeer, ring-tailed lemur, sloth, tree kangaroo, flying fox, birds and butterflies amidst mighty trees, delicate ferns and stunning cascades.
3.30 – 4.00pm
Get back on the tram, and take it to Tram Stop 4 before proceeding to the Elephants At Work and Play animal presentation (3.30pm) at the Elephants of Asia exhibit. This show gives you an insight into a working elephant’s typical day at the logging camp. It demonstrates the incredible bond between the mahouts and their elephants, and reveals how intelligent these giants are. Immerse yourself in the ecological and cultural wealth of Asia at the six huts, each of which showcases an Asian country that is home to these majestic creatures.
4.00 – 4.30pm
Hamadryas Baboons – The Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia This award winning exhibit features a spectacular troop of about 90 baboons alongside Nubian ibexes, black-backed jackals, rock hyraxes and banded mongoose in a stunning landscape of massive rocks. Experience the native Ethiopian lifestyle with rustic tribal villages, artifacts and coffee ceremony huts.
4.30 – 5.00pm
Hop into Australian Outback! Interspersed with semi-arid and marginally fertile ground, this exhibit reflects the rugged beauty of Down Under. Visitors can come up close to Eastern grey kangaroos, agile wallabies and emus. Other highlights include the frill-necked lizard, bearded dragon, cassowary and carpet python. Learn more about these animals from the educational interpretives located throughout the exhibit and pop onto the modified jeep for a great photo opportunity.
5.00 – 5.30pm
Catch the spectacular white tigers. This exhibit is designed in an interactive mode with multimedia animal facts and messages about wildlife conservation. Visitors can have an opportunity to see a tiger’s pug mark, hear a tiger roar and watch a video on tiger bones and how poachers hunt it to make traditional medicine.
5.30 – 6.00pm
Meander on towards our babirusa and Malayan tapirs before ending at Treetops Trail. Say hello to the siamangs and greater mousedeer on your way out.
Complete your visit by bringing back some attractive souvenirs from the Zoo Shop.
End your day with a mouth-watering Italian-style thin-crusted pizza at our very own Pizzafari outlet or try some kaya toast and kopi (local coffee) at Ah Meng Kopi. Or, why not treat yourself to America’s favourite ice cream at our Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop. All three outlets are located at the Zoo’s entrance.
